I am Priscila, a London based, intermediate level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher
I am Brazilian and based in South-east London with a warm dynamic manner.
When I walked into my first Iyengar yoga class at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of South London with Glenys Shepherd back in 1995, I fell in love with it.
I was very stiff to begin with but felt very energized after classes. I rarely missed a class and soon was attending 3 classes a week.
Iyengar yoga brought me such joy and optimism that my confidence grew to the point that I decided my mission was to become a Yoga teacher to help spread this wonderful gift to mankind.

To bring more awareness, purity, sensitivity, equanimity, harmony,
innocence, compassion and integration to the art of living.
I place importance to attention to detail but deliver this in a fun and often humourous way.
Yoga needs to be in all corners of the world. At home, in schools, at work, in hospitals and even in aeroplanes.

I offer beginners, general, intermediate, restorative, private classes as well as workshops and events.

This class is aimed at pupils who have been attending classes for some years and have developed their home practice.

We are living in chaos with so much to fix within us and in the world.
Yoga is not just about the asana practice, there are many other important aspects of it.
It is a powerful discipline that can definitely change you and turn the world into a better place.
Yoga will make you agile in the body and improve your concentration, relaxation and general well being.
At work people should be given the opportunity to refresh their static bodies and minds.
This will reflect in their productivity.
Children need to learn it from at least 5 years old. Yoga should be brought into schools.
They need to learn about good posture from an early age.
This will also improve their academic results.
